Kære Kryssarklub venner. Den dejlige og velbeskyttede Messolonghi Marina har fortsat problemer med at få miljøtilladelse og der må IKKE arbejdes på bådene. Flere bådejere har fået bøder af Port Police, som cirkulerer på havnen flere gange hver dag. Se det seneste nyt her:

Dear guests of Messolonghi Marina,
Last Tuesday 10 May, we had a meeting with all boat owners in the marina office.
In this meeting I explained the current unfortunate situation, as also described in my newsletters.
Of course nobody was happy with the problems, but most people showed a strong commitment to the marina and the town.
Because of the problems our guests have to face, we will give the following compensations.
- All penalties that have to be paid until Tuesday 12 May 2016, will be refunded by the Marina
- All boats that are on land will receive one month for free for a future stay in the Marina
- All boats that want to spend the wintertime 2016/2017 on land in Messolonghi we offer the following arrangement.
20% deposit at signing the agreement
50% at start/arrival
30% at launching
In the unlikely event that the marina has not received the environmental license before the boat will be launched and no works can be undertaken, the 30% will not have to be paid.
So this money can be used to service the boat in another marina.
The good news is, that yesterday I was personally informed by the director of the Tourist Ministry, that everything concerning the application of the licenses was in order and that the procedure is in process.
